Overview

Fun for the whole family at one of the Trail’s prettiest parks.

Apex Park, Heyfield, is one of the prettiest and best appointed parks on the trail. The children will be entertained for hours, while Mum and Dad enjoy a peaceful break. The theme of the park is environment and sustainable timbers (timber is a very important part of Heyfield’s heritage and, currently, its economy). There are a large number of activities in the park, including a wooden climbing structure, slides of various types and abilities, a scrambling wall, ladders, a fireman’s pole, flying fox, various types of walkways, and lots more. There is a barbeque area with shelter, drinking water, picnic tables (most sheltered), and a grassed area for the picnic rug.

There is easy sealed parking at the park along George Street, and limited gravel parking along Davis Street. Toilet facilities are modern and clean.

Heyfield’s vibrant shopping precinct is just across the road from Apex Park.
