Damage to the trail near Tinamba.
The Gippsland Plains Rail Trail Committee of Management would like to make trail users aware of damage to the trail between Two Mile Crossing at Heyfield to McKinnon’s Road Tinamba. Over the weekend (21 & 22 June, 2014), a large herd of cattle were driven illegally down the trail which has destroyed the trail surface. The incident is being investigated by authorities and charges will be laid. Caution on this section of trail until repaired.
